Hard to treadle my spinning wheel

Possible causes:

• Your brake is set too tight --> loosen the leather (Irt) or the brake belt (Sct)
• The yarn is not threaded correctly in your flyer
• You are spinning thick or too irregular yarn with too high a ratio whorl, choose a larger whorl (lower ratio) on your bobbin and treadle more slowly
• The bobbin is full.
