There are many different methods to warp a loom. If you have never woven before, we suggest you ask another weaver to help you or take a class. Over time, each weaver develops her own tricks and techniques that suit the loom and personal preferences. The instruction below is a service by Louët to provide an overview of setting up a warp. Part of the process is universal, but some parts are unique instructions specific to a loom.
Louët cannot provide further user support when learning to weave and warping a loom. If you need additional support, you should consult a weaving teacher or other weavers in your area.
Summary of the steps to start a new warp
The step by step processes are explained in more detail in successive articles. There is a separate article for each part of the process. We will also add videos as soon as possible. Click on the article title to access the information.
