Most devices—such as iPads, phones, and computers—automatically connect to the strongest available Wi-Fi network. Operating systems like Windows and iOS prefer networks with internet access.
When connecting to a Louët Dobby 2 using the “louetwifi” network, this can cause problems, because louetwifi does not provide internet. Your device may automatically disconnect and switch back to another network.
If your connection keeps dropping:
- Turn off “auto-join” / “auto-connect” for your home Wi-Fi
- Or temporarily forget your home network
- Then reconnect to louetwifi
You may also need to disable settings that switch away from weak Wi-Fi signals.
Because settings differ per device, you will need to locate these options in your Wi-Fi settings.
