Jane Loom - Kombo Loom - Knotting the Harness Cord

This diagram demonstrates how to create the correct knot when attaching the toggle cords of a Jane loom to their harnesses.

Attach the cord to the eye of the side of a shaft. Use the knot shown in the pictures:

• Thread the cord from the inside to the outside through the hole at the top of the shaft side.
• Wrap the tail around the notch under the hole at the top of the shaft.
• Put the end of the cord through the loop and pull the cord tight.

To raise the height of a shaft higher, pull the end of the cord while moving back and forth	To lower a shaft’s height, use your nail to pull the end of the cord back
