Spinning wheel - treadle hinge

Treadle hinges are inserted into the sides of the treadle and they can turn in the nylon bearings, pressed into the slanted uprights.  They are stainless steel 6 mm axles, in an "L" shape.  

If you need to replace them, they are a very tight fit - but try to pry them up, left and right side, simultaneously
