Spinning wheel - replacing a footman on an original S10 Louet wheel

In VERY early model S10's,   the footman itself and its connection to the main wheel was not a ball bearing system.   You can replace the footman and have a connection that runs on a bearing.  Your S10 will give you a much better spinning experience.  

Order an SR0144 Footman.  You will also need a Footman Bolt assembly SR0131.

You will need to connect your Footman Bolt assembly to a new position on the main wheel and you may be left with a hole in the wheel - but as previously stated, your spinning experience will be far superior.
