Attached are the original instructions for an S70 or S71 wheel - these wheels were first introduced in 1982 and discontinued in 1992.
These rustic European oak spinning wheels have largely the same properties as the other Louët spinning wheels. The S71 is stained brown and the S70 was unfinished. In mid-1989, the appearance was slightly altered and became even more classic looking. The matching skein winder was also made in two versions. Most spare parts are still available (2021). Most parts are common with the S10. However, the bobbins and flyer are longer, and are no longer available. Current S10 IrT flyers and bobbins will fit the S70 and S71
