Jane - Can the Jane loom be retrofitted with metal heddles?

No, the Jane can not be converted to use metal heddles.
a. They won’t fit on the harness bars
b. The weight of them will not be sustained by the construction of the loom – its designed for the weight of texsolv heddles
c. The harnesses are too close together to allow the use of metal heddles
