Spring 1 Relevant measurement and information – Louët Support Helpdesk

The original Spring was introduced to the market in the eighties and has undergone only minor improvements over the years. The new Spring 2 was launched in 2020, replacing the original Spring in our product line. Accessories and spare parts for the Spring 1 remain available.

*Treadles

The treadles for the Spring are 3cm (1.25”) wide with 3.5cm (1.5”) between the treadles.
The treadles hinge on the foot rail at the front of the loom.
With normal tie up of the countermarch system you can only depress 1 treadle at a time.

Heights of horizontal lamm and harness, measured from the floor up

When measuring, the shafts are blocked with the blocking pin in place.
All measurements are measured from the floor to the top of the harness or lamm bar.
Tip: Mark the measurements on two warp sticks and place them upright behind the last shaft. Then you can easily adjust the height by turning the white nylon nut. The distance of the holes in the texsolv cord is 12 mm (0.5"). The white nylon nuts allow you to fine-tune the heights.
