Question:
Sometimes Colors appear in the Louet software and sometimes they do not? Why?
This observation was recorded by Megado user Nina Kennedy
Answer:
Fiberworks automatically assigns a weft color, which is blue, to the weft bar when you create a new file. In most of the files I had created I changed the color (assigned the weft a new color) and these were the ones which seemed to show just fine when I put the USB stick in the Louet interface and opened the file on my IPAD. I realized that the ones that were not showing were the drafts where I had left the weft color as it originally was given by Fiberworks because I was actually going to use blue in the weft in those places. Apparently when this was the case the interface was not recognizing that any color was there. Once I opened the file again in Fiberworks and actually assigned a blue color chip to those sections where I wanted blue in the weft and then plugged the stick into the Louet box and opened it on the iPad - voila - the weft blue color was there.
