General - Tips for floorloom tie-ups

A 78 year old customer sent us a great tip for tiring up the treadles of a Spring loom.   However, the same tip can also be used for the Delta of David 3.

If you need to tie-up the treadles for a new warp, it's easiest to do this when the breast beam and, if possible, the cloth beam are not in the loom (these items can be removed with the Delta, Spring-2 and David-3 ).

Always block the shafts with the blocking pin when tying up treadles.
