Megado / Octado / Delta - Height Extenders Treadle

For people with shorter legs, the Megado and Delta looms can be have treadle height adjusting blocks added

With the Megado (part number WA0175) and the Octado (WA0319)  this includes an extra bar that is mounted on the large main treadle. This adds 32 or 52 mm( 1.25 or 2.05”) to the height.

First, move the dobby treadle to the highest position on the Megado and the Octado .

With the Delta, the booster sets consist of blocks that you screw on the pedals and a piece for the footrest (article WA0136). By installing the height kit, you increase the treadles and footrest by 32 mm. The set contains height blocks for 14 treadles

Determining how much extra height you need.
Adjust the height of your bench to a comfortable working height. Take into account the working height of your arms. You should not sit hunched over while weaving.
Then put your foot on the treadle and try to feel how much you are too short to press the treadle.

Place the blocks where you feel comfortable and install them according to the instruction manual.
