In the 1990's when the Megado and Magic looms were first introduced, Louet's electronic dobby's used magnetic sensors and used rare earth magnets to activate and deactivate the sensors. In 2016 Louet switched to metal detecting sensors and introduced the "switch block". The switch block clamps onto the knife bar to activate and deactivate picks on the dobby.
If you are looking for a replacement magnet, search for 3/8" rare earth magnet online.
Do NOT use this magnet in combination with the new generation Megado Dobby 2.0 which is equipped with metal detecting sensors
