Jane - cords falling off rollers

If your shaft cords are coming off the rollers during weaving, try tightening the black elastic cords under the shafts. Pull one end of the elastic cord out from inside the shaft side. Undo the existing knot and tie a new one to shorten the cord.

The original Jane loom had small rollers for the harness cords, and the cords could easily come off. Louët replaced this design with larger, deeper rollers within the first year of production. If your Jane loom has small rollers (approximately 1/2" in diameter), contact your local retailer to order a Jane roller replacement kit (part number WR0184).
