Art Yarn Flyer

The artyarn flyer was developed due to increased demand for a flyer with a larger orifice and guides. The Louet Art Yarn flyer makes spinning art yarn easy. The orifice is 20 mm (7/8”). It fits all Louët Irish tension spinning wheels (with the exception of the 1976 S10 with the double top rail and the S90). A small series of art yarn flyers were made for the S90, but these are no longer available.

From December 2015 the IrT/Artyarn kit for the Victoria has also been available, so you can use the art yarn flyer on the Victoria S95/S96

S10C IrT Art yarn flyer (product number SA0135)  Birch plywood with gray HPL top layer Orifice Ø20 mm (7/8”) You can store more yarn on the Irt flyer when you also use the bulky bobbin (part number SA0112)

S95/s96 Art Yarn head attachment. Can be used in combination with Artyarn or any Irt flyer and bobbins (not included)  This means anyone with any Louet IrT wheel can use existing flyers and bobbins with the Victoria.
