Art Yarn Flyer

The Art Yarn flyer was developed in response to growing demand for a flyer with a larger orifice and larger yarn guides. It makes spinning art yarn easier and more efficient.

The flyer has a 20 mm (7/8”) orifice and fits all Louët Irish tension spinning wheels, with the exception of:

• the 1976 S10 with double top rail
• the S90

A limited number of Art Yarn flyers were previously produced for the S90, but these are no longer available.

Since December 2015, an IrT/Art Yarn kit for the Victoria has been available. This allows the Art Yarn flyer to be used on the Victoria S95 and S96.

S10C IrT Art yarn flyer (product number SA0153)  For greater yarn capacity, the Art Yarn flyer can be used in combination with the bulky bobbin (part number SA0112). This allows you to wind significantly more yarn onto the bobbin.	S95/s96 Art Yarn head attachment An Art Yarn head attachment is available for the Victoria S95 and S96. This attachment can be used with any Louët Irish tension flyer and bobbins (not included), including the Art Yarn flyer. This means that any Louët Irish tension flyer and bobbin can be used on the Victoria, offering maximum flexibility and compatibility.
